Community Advisory Board (CAB) Study
Intervention to Address Psychosocial Needs Among Socially Disadvantaged Older Adults With Cancer
Funded by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute- Programs to Increase Diversity Among Individuals Engaged in Health-Related Research (PRIDE), this one-year study seeks to recruit patients and caregivers affected by multiple myeloma and community leaders and advocates to engage in roundtable and café style conversations about the multiple myeloma and cancer-related healthcare access challenges often faced within their communities. We are then leveraging these conversations to identify community members to serve on a community advisory board.
